Synopsis
The book "Philosophy of Freedom" contains works, little known to the general reader, written by the outstanding Ukrainian humanist philosopher Myroslav Popovych and published in different years, in different editions and countries. It is obviously unique in terms of the variety of topics, time dimension and the fact that the articles were selected by Myroslav Volodymyrovych himself - in the last months of his life. The works that are included in this edition allow us to see the objects of the author's research from different angles, give us the opportunity to visit the philosopher's workshop. And this applies not only to historical events and portraits of important personalities for Ukraine, but also to the interpretation of events in the history of science in their rational and philosophical reproduction. The scientist seeks to make sense of the events taking place before his eyes, comparing them with the world experience of development and looking for their roots in the historical sources of the Ukrainian people, in the peculiarities of the Ukrainian mentality. At the same time, he fully uses the experience of developing logical and methodological problems of the development of science. The book "Philosophy of Freedom" is a search for truth at the crossroads of national and world paths of culture and science, which was bequeathed to us by a wise and bright man - Myroslav Popovych.
